My First Award

As a new blogger I was shocked to find out my blog received an award!!!  I was so excited and honored!!!

• I was in the army for 9 years-going through basic training was the hardest thing I ever had to do in my life, but it gave me a determination to not fail.  I knew that if I could make it through basic I could accomplish anything that I set my mind to.
• I am a Diva-I absolutely love to look good!! My outfits match from head to toe to pocketbook!!!  I go to the beauty parlor every week (Fri or Sat).  I also get my nails done and a pedicure (only in the summer) every two-weeks.
• I am determined to lose 100 pounds-there I said it!! Yes!!! I am over weight...but I am determined to lose the battle of the bulge.  Remember what I told you...when I put my mind to it....watch out for the transformation-speak those things that be not at though they were!!! I can and I will do it!!
• I love to sew, decorate, and shop (well that goes without saying-hence the Diva in me).
• I am a mini hoarder-I have so much teaching and sewing supplies and no place to store them-so needless to say my extra bedroom (trying to make it into a office) is a hot mess, so is my classroom closet-help me!!!lol
• I love Winnie the Pooh-I started collecting all things Pooh, but I had no place to put it so I stopped-he is still cute though-my desk top screen saver has a picture of Pooh and so does my cell phone and I have a few watches.
• I spent 3 years in Germany-but did not get a chance to tour and see the sites due to the Gulf War that broke out-they suspended all travel-I had to cancel my trip to Rome and Paris I was so heart broken-Maybe one day I will get a chance to go back.
