My 1st Currently, I Won Two Giveaways and Classroom Progress Day 1

Well it's Saturday and I know everyone is busy doing our Saturday thing!!! So  am going to just jump right in because I have some running around to do and lot's of work to get done. First off I am linking up with Farley over at:
For another addition of Currently. If you have not visited Farley's blog you need to!! She is a hoot. Go on you know you want to...Here is my version:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
You guys will have to forgive my lack of bloggy manners. I forgot to let everyone know that I won two giveaways. The most recent one was last Tuesday from Nicole at:
Lanier's Kindergarten Lions
I was able to select anything that I wanted from her TPT or TN stores: I selected this great math unit ...
The first giveaway I won was in mid July from Sarah at
but the prize came from Deana at
Deana gave away this little gem. It is called the Hanging Hero.  Click on the picture to go to her TPT store to read  all about it.  All I can say is my displays will be nice and neat from here on out!!! Go check out these ladies blogs and show them some love.  The next time you see someone having a giveaway join it because you just might win! I know I did, not once but twice! Woo Hoo!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have been working in my room trying to get it together and took some before pictures. This was after I had bust my hump to get it done on the last day of summer school back in June-I put everything back by myself-I was in so much pain when I got home, but it was well worth it.  I am not allowed to do any heavy lifting post surgery:

I still had some of jungle alphabet up-I just covered it with some the western border that I am using.  Of course I did not take pictures of the after (because I stopped what I was doing to help a friend and make a copy of the new math pacing guide so I could look it over and create a few things before school starts).  I was tired extremely exhausted and ready to go home. Will post pictures on Monday of everything that I accomplished on Friday.  WOW that was long!! Enjoy the rest of your Saturday.

  2. I LOVE your blog design! I'm going with a western theme in my classroom this year and afraid I'm going overboard (is there any such thing?!?)
    Have a great school year!

  4. It's crunch time for sure! Yikes! Looks like you've already started on your room, too. Nice work! :) That hanging hero looks AMAZING! I am going over there right now! I'm terrible at making things straight and always end up going for the um... 'artistic' look. Thanks for sharing!

Congrats on those giveaways! You are one lucky lady - come over to enter my giveaway to see if third time's a charm! I'm your newest follower!
